Well It's UP , and Running

Ted that really looks good!!!! I love it! Like those sea swirls too. Are you getting some good random flow? How high did you make the stand?

Beautiful Tank Ted, I would drive to see it!
Thank you very much .
I wanted a remote sump and fish room as well. I partitioned my garage for a nice size room and then I found out my wife was pregnant. I lost my rights to the fish room and had to tear it all down. I sold off a lot of extra stuff and had to redesign my under part of the tank so it would fit everything. Now I will have to add on to the house for my fish room! =)

I am very lucky to be able to have the support system down stairs .

Thank You Emmett .
I love the Sea Swirls , they really give me a lot of random flow .

The stand is 34.5" tall , and that was the maximum height I could get in the door .

I really love the look of the stainless steel open stand. I have to tell you though if it was me I would put 3 400watt radiums over that sucker and call it a day

Thank you Emmett . About the lighting , I think I am going to stick with the LEDs , at least for now .

Ted

Yeah probably best to try the leds now that you have them all made up, but I can tell you the 400watt Radium on electronic ballasts is by far the best lighting I've tried. I have some LED actinics on one of my frag tanks that I dont even use. They are hard on the corals(probably due to the reflectors), just be careful with them. I would put them up high at first

Emmett , Thank you for the heads up on the LEDs . My canopy goes up, and down real easy . All I have to do is push a button .

I 2nd that. I agree that the corals seem to be a little more senstive to the LED's light especially LPS. It's easy to bleach them out but when you find the sweet spot they do work well.
