Well Roger, It Finally Happened to Me

Dear Roger,
I bought my 6025's about a year ago and it finally happened. It looks like the impeller shaft completely snapped at the base. I was really hoping that I got lucky and would be the guy that had none of the problems other people had experienced, but this morning proved different.
I know you've said on other threads that the 6025's made after October of 2007 won't have any of these problems. What should I do?? Would you be able to help me out at all?? I have a total of three 6025's, two purchased in May 2007 and one purchased in June 2007. Would you be able to repair the broken one??
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!!!

Shawn,
Thanks for the reply. It's always nice to deal with you guys, your customer service kicks butt!!!
Just let me know where I need to send the powerhead and I'll get it out to you folks ASAP.
Thanks Again!!

Well actually I do not work for Tunze, I just try to give roger a hand when I can answering some questions. Roger is on his way to Germany I believe, but Rodney will be watching on here some as time allows would be my guess.

The address to send to is
Tunze USA
305 Victor St
Austin TX 78753

Be sure to include a return address and a phone number etc.... in the box

Do you think I'll have to wait until Roger comes back before I'll be able to mail it out and get a replacement/ repair?? I have a temp powerhead in there now, but definitely not as much flow...

No I do not believe that to be the case. Things might be a touch slower with him gone, but actually Rodney handles most of the repairs these days though with Roger gone I am sure he will have a bit extra on his plate.

Yes, send it in, Rodney can handle this, about the only repairs that wont get done while I am gone are those that require soldering.

Just wantd to let you know I'm putting it in the mail today. Thanks again Roger and Shawn, I really appreciate your quick response and solution to my problem.

P.S.- I didn't notice this until right now, but I just cracked the 200 posts mark!! LOL

Thanks Again guys!!!

Thank you for the heads up. Once we receive your repair it should only take about a day to get it sent back out to you.

I wanted to let you folks know that I received the new 6025 in the mail yesterday and the corals are very happy!!!!!!
I don't know exactly what the part is called, but it's the screen attachment that goes on the front of the unit, I did not receive that part. Is there any chance you could mail me one??
Thanks again for all your help!!!!
