had some really nice Totoka and Tukani Live Rock really pourous stuff looks like some kind of huge sps skeleton type rock with holes all the way through it and they had 3 5 gallon buckets of rubble from this rock for 45 buck so i bought 1 bucket full and another of regular rubble rock. they also had huge crocea clams in about a dozen of them 6 inches long. there coral tanks got prices lowered a bit also and now they have a one of there big square tanks full of sps frags, hopefully we will have a pizza party again over here for illinois reefers soon.

I believe I saw an article in a magazine about this place, there are only a few in exsistence correct one being in Ohio.

If I remember correctly, the Aquatic Treasures store in Mason, Ohio closed just before I moved here in October 2005. That place was very nice and is where I got my start before I moved here.

7 bucks a pound i think he told me, great stuff for stick frags to especially stuff like frogspawn, candy can, sps coral. Usually only base rock but this stuff is big and lightweight i'm heading back up on payday for some more.

fairview heights Illinois

I know there is one in fairview heights, Illinois.

I was just referring to KvcGsxr600 post about one of their stores in Ohio.

Yeah - a pizza night in IL! :)

Velco did rearrange his tanks recently. Got rid of the big anemone tank... turned that into a shark/big agressive tank... then turned the old sting ray tank into a high end coral tank. Mostly SPS - a lot of acros...

hit gateway aquatics

hey kimsie they got some more st. thomas ricordea(Discosoma sanctithomae) plus there was one superman mushroom, and some nice red caribbean shrooms never seen before, they got a big shipment of ricordea and few other oddballs stuff.

Darrick,

You do know that larger hairy mushrooms are know to eat the occasional fish or two, don't you?

Just checking.:D

yeah, but i don't really have many fish in my 2 tanks, mostly coral. they don't perch on the corals on one pink spotted gobie does but its about 5 inches long. i keep all my ricordea, yumas, zoos, and palys in a 75 gallon with only 2 wrasse, 1 pseudocromis, clown fish. 125 has 2 different kinds of hairy mushrooms and lots of leathers. i try to keep only maintenance fish for algae and pest and sand movement.
