WHen you say it needs a 24" sump.. does this mean the water level needs to be at 24" or the sump just needs to be as tall as 24"?

The sump needs to be 24" wide, it needs an 8" water level and 32" of clearance to remove the cup and house the skimmers height.

If I were to consider this skimmer for my 180, it would need to fit into my future sump which is a trigger systems berlin w/refugium. Aparently, the 'skimmer spot' would only be 17.5" x 10" am I SOL?
