Wes's cube build

The sand just got blown to the back of the tank. I'm thinking about adding a coarser grade. Out of all the tanks I have seen, I always liked the color of corals under 20k radiums with VHO super actinic.

Plus one! 20k radiums 400watt with VHO super actinic rocks! I added back my t5 retro with ati blue+'s so I am rockin with 3 different bulb setup in the hood. Awesome growth and color with proven bulbs, IMO.

Tank's looking great Wes!

What are these two watermelons?

Thanks, gobies are my second favorite fish after cardinals :) Cleaned the tank yesterday and today the tank looks happy :)

Here is the overflow. There are three drains. One for the primary drain into the sump, the second for additional drainage if the first can't keep up for some reason and the third is an emergency overflow if the first two fail.

From here, all three get connected and drain into the sump

Then everything is returned with an external reeflo pump.

The calcium reactor. It looks pretty messy right now but I plan to redo the plumbing and organize it better in the future.

I just happened across this thread after seeing your photo in the "Show me your 20k Radiums..." thread. Any updates on this tank Wes?? The last FTS you posted was gorgeous! I love how the hawkins just totally took over the left side of the tank.

There is an update but not a good one. I replaced the carpet in my condo and installed window shutters but in the process I had to store my livestock in a temporary holding tank. I took this opportunity to re-aquascape the tank but after all was done most of the larger colonies didn't make it. Tank looks bare at the moment but give me a year and I'll have it looking natural again :)
