Since the other thread ( http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=514774 ) was getting a bit cluttered, I've opted to start a new one here. Before you post things like "what is a WMC", read the above thread. If you already know, then here's what we have so far:
2006 Western Marine Conference

Call (916) 922-8041 for room reservations (be sure to tell them you are with the WMC).
Room Rate $89.00 per night
Registration
Early Registration begins April 1, 2005
Price is $100
Price after February 1, 2006 is $130
Fee Includes: 3 days at the conference (you will be able to hear all the speakers), no host bar and social evening with speakers and manufacturers on Friday evening, and buffet lunch on Saturday (April 22nd)
Additional Events:
Saturday night banquet - $35
There will be a raffle after the banquet on Saturday night
Also, a free 2006 WMC T-shirt to the first 150 early registrants. The T-shirts will also be on sale at the conference.

As soon as the full website is up and running you will be able to sign up via PayPal, check, etc., and that should be any day now. This is going to be a big event, and if you miss it you'll be kicking yourself later (I know because I missed the WMC in 2000). We will be hosting some of the hobby's premier speakers, and the vendor's booths will make you want to have your VISA card handy. As the speaker's topics and vendor commitments are locked in, more updates will follow, but don't forget to bookmark the WMC's main page: www.wmc2006.org and check in frequently for updates there as well.
