Wet Sanded Acrylic Front Panel While Fully Running

Matt, did you get rid of your whale?

Unfortunately after 8 years he passed on about 8 months ago.....along with about 30 other fish from a nasty parasite....another good reason NOT to just sit back and do nothing :deadhorse1:(which I didn't do) but it was too late by the time treatments took effect, I was able as you can see to save the majority

Damn that sucks. Glad it wasn't a total loss. That fish was huge! 8 years is longer than some dogs. Tank is looking good. Looks so much better with the colorful stuff, LOL!

I just used a waterproof tape around the sides of the magnet .....and yes it has to be secured to the magnet or it will slide off eventually within a few min ....I tried it .....also remember I have 1 in acrylic to go through...maybe you can get away without securing it but why bother it only takes a minute to tape it down

what kind of tape did you use?

I used a waterproof clear packing tape ....wrapped the inside magnet with the sandpaper and then taped it tight around the sides .....not the front or the back

just curious what type magnet do you have? I have a magnavore 4er and am wondering if I should use one that's less powerful so it will move easier.
