Oh man! Not the cat too!!! That's horrible. Maybe she will turn up?

Nathan's cat got out of the house and she was gone for two days. He found her under his car soaking wet from the rain. We thought for sure she wouldn't have come back...but she sure did.
 
Found her under the house. :rollface: Roomie was sitting on the porch and heard a meow and saw the smelly stray cat and went looking. She seems fine, but she tried to eat and regurged it all, then didn't try to eat again. I will watch her closely.

Yeah, my last cat that got out was found 8 days later at my sisters apartment complex. I think sure got in the engine compartment to stay warm and held on tight for the ride. It was about a 20 mintute drive across Memphis.

Yeah, the Blue prostrata is not looking any better, after I initially saw polyps. The Idaho grape and ultimate lost all flesh the next day.
 
What good news you found the cat!!! the kitty Gods do answer prayers. Hope the upchucking and loss of appetite are resolved.

So sorry you ended up losing all sps.
I'd help out with frags if I could, but I'm pretty low on sps myself after some recent tank issues.
Maybe you can pick up some good stuff at the Swap if you can get the tank stabilized by then.
 
Thanks. I have a list of corals that I want and people I know who have them, so watch out people... I'm coming to restock. I will post a thread of corals I am looking for soon and I hope to find a few things at the swap, like a ORA Nathan's green milli, green slimer, blue slimer and a ATL purple stag. The tank should be stable before then and the doser will be up this weekend. I have all the calulations done for dosing and ready to do this the right way. :D hopefully
 
I have the Nathan's green as well as a few of the other ones on your "dream list"... LMK what Chris doesn't hook you up with, and I'll try and get you whatever I've got...
 
To be clear- what happened is you dosed too much too fast? Scary!! Surely I have heard the need to take things slow, but I didn't think it was easy to overdose those two part buffers!!
 
Yeah, I dosed to much to fast. 3x the normal amount that I normally add. So What I have done now is remake the solutions and got an aquamedic that will dose Alk and Ca, and will dose Mg in my top water.
