So the rebuild has begun. Here is a shot of a happy couple i think. I rarely see the shrimp, but his handy work is not hard to miss. I also have a McCoster's and Whipfin Fasher Wrasse- great pair of fish too. They are finally getting alone. I will try to get a picture of them with the post swap FTS next week-ish.

Randini...... how big did you expect for him to be- 7" like those freakish mantis???? Plus- you bought three remember. It seems like you are grabbing all the maximas that come through the CR
EDIT: Thought you were talking about my Shrimp. Yeah, the Randall's is tiny. already found his way into my overflow and them sump- second day. But he is holding strong, eatting well. He has not been around the shrimp as much as i thought he would, but they hang out sometimes.

Actually...that shrimp is GIGANTIC. It's one of the biggest tiger shrimp that have ever come through that store. The Randalls is smallish but he looks smaller when you put him up next to the giant shrimp.
NO DOUBT! I kept looking into my tank, thinking to myself "what's missing???" I was clearing out the back of the overflow (remember there are like 3-4 tiny chambers back there (one of which is only big enough to hold a heater) when I see my friggin' neon goby. I was like "oh wth!?!" I knew it was going to be a total bear getting him out. I had to take off the entire hood to the RSM but I didn't want to disconnect it so I left it hanging by it's cord on the right side of the tank while I tried in vain to get him out of there for 45 minutes or so.
I chased him back and forth between those overflows for FOREVER.
Nathan came home and I sadly yelled out "my fish...my fish!"
He helped me and within another hour we had him out of there.
All the detritus got stirred up and he got covered in it so we couldn't see him....he was camouflaged .
I fed the tank last night and you should have seen him eat!!! He must have been in that overflow for a couple of weeks. I was so busy monitoring Jaws2 (who had been acting a bit oddly) that I didn't notice.

Yeah, it is a little bit of both. The Randall's is tiny and the shrimp is big- about 1.5"

If I didn't hijack with pure nonsense, I wouldn't have this many posts Paul. It's not like I post in any other forum. I've even quit posting in MTRC due to time constraints.
