anyone with bad experience with a fish or two that they will never have again in their tanks?

7 blue green chromis down to 3 in two weeks.

That's about normal as they are in the damsel family even if they are the nicer cousins. They will still squable to establish a heirarchy in the tank. what size tank by the way.

i had 4 in a 29g QT tank with a 3" bluejaw trigger. only 1 is alive. 1 was already swimming funny and was near death the day i bought it. i think that one died the next day. the one that is alive is in hypo(1.008-1..09) for 1week now.

3 originally in the 17g, and only 2 is alive. the small one that is about 1/2" is a very aggressive eater. the other that is about 3x that size hardly eats.

i just bought it to have it ready to dump into my 180g when it is up and running.

Not really a fish, but a sexy shrimp. Tore my Frogspawn down to just barely the skeleton. Gave the shrimp away, put the frogspawn in a QT tank and he is doing awesome. Never another sexy shrimp in my tanks.

red coris wrasse that hitchhiked in some sand that was given to me. everyday i would have to go in and glue or epoxy coral and pick up live rock that it knocked down. had to empty tank to catch him

Im done keeping any fish that are considered difficult to keep. Im going with tough fish only, nothing expensive or rare either. I just want an easy, understocked tank with hardy fish for awhile.

I told myself I would never try another Kleins B/f after my second time. Both times they were added to control aptasia and manjanos. But both times they ate everything but.
Plus they are very smart and it took me a week to catch them. Well.... I gave it another shot because I was desperate, the manjanos were appearing faster than I could zap them.
I bought one off of D/D and now after 5 weeks, no aptasia and 90% manjano free.
I'm worried she will go after other coral once she is through with the cleanup.
Last time I caught one in my trap I used acropora for bait.

Maroon clownfish...after 3 years he had just become too mean. I finally decided to take him out and give him away today after he started to tear up my prized torch coral. I was very sad to part with him since he was my very first fish when I started with this hobby. But the tank seems a lot more peaceful now without Krusty the Clownfish wreaking havoc.

First I would have to say clownfish. I first had a maroon clown and that guy was so mean I rarely put my hands in my tank!! After giving him away I added to false percula's and they too had a mean streak and twice they bit me hard enough to draw blood so they too where given away. And secondly I would have to say firefish, had two of them jump. If I decide to have them again I would def. need a cover for my tank.

Six line Wrasse - way too mean once established and strikes other fish with serious speed.

Red Coris Wrasse- A real nuisance. When small it toppled my frags daily...after 2 months it was toppling entire colonies.

Pink Marbled Wrasse - mean fish and the only fish I have ever wanted to inflict pain on. :)

Siganus Corallinus - Ate most of my prized zoanthids.

Red carpet anemone - ate everything that swam near it.

Sohal Tang - Size
Any Psuedochromis - Aggressiveness
Crosshatch Triggers - Aggressiveness
Hawaiian Flame Wrasse - Can't keep them alive.

Pink Spotted Goby, he eats all the small hermit crabs and snails, leaving literally a pile of empty shells near his burrow.

The Sleeper Banded Goby is a much better choice of similar fish who still moves and cleans sand.
