What are the chances?

I got a Sebae Anemone the other day that was on the brink of its death for free. All of its tentacles were deflated, its mouth inside out wide open and it was non sticky.

Well he survived the first day and actually looks better. Half of its body looks better. Its tentacles have plumped up but the other half still looks bad and the mouth is still open.

Well I just wanted to know the chances of it surviving. I know this is a delicate anemone so its very slim.

But it was dying and I got it for free so why not try to save it.

Thats what I thought. Unfortunately he got worse instead of getting better. Chances are even worse.

I just flushed it. He was melting away. I felt bad but at least I tried.
