What are the most common hitchhikers found on live rock?

And can they only be found on uncured LR? Or can some survive cured?
I know it can be "cured" to an extent and some are fully cured.

I want to get some LR that will be teeming with life. I know there is no guarantee but what can I do to increase the chances..?

Anyone ever have bobbit worms?

bristle worms, pods, aptaisia, sometimes a crab or mantis shrimp, various small star fish, various small snails, corals, macro algaes, there are endless possiblities of what can come in hitch hiking on live rock. most will survive on cured or non-cured rock.

Ive never had a bobbit worm, they arent common, and i sure as hell hope i never see one.

If you get LR, you are pretty much guaranteed you will get something that is beneficial. Its the stuff that isn't that gives people concerns. To increase your odds you will need to pretty much hand select your own LR at the LFS. lol.

If you want a load of interesting hitchhikers try tbsaltwater.com.

TB rock has alot of pests. I once had a couple of cirolanaid isopods that attached to one of my tangs. Nasty..:mad2:
