What are these things growing everywhere? ID

Can you tell me what these are and why they are growing everywhere in my tank? They are growing on rocks, sand, and even the glass! They range i. Size from barely visible to about the size of a quarter NOT counting the little tentacles! How do I get rid of them. They are growing in a place where I want to add other things like hammer coral, etc.

Aptasia for sure, I had about 25-30 of them in my 75g tank about 8 months ago. Bought 5 true peppermint shrimp and they were all gone in a week. Make sure you get true peppermint shrimp some shrimp resemble peppermints. I paid around 4-5$ per shrimp.
