What are these tubes under the sand? Makes sand look likes it has white hair

My sand is loaded with these delicate structures. There is a white hair like creature that whips around just above the sand. When I vacuum the sand it exposes their tube structures. See pic.

Yup, definitely spionid worms. They are beneficial filter feeders, so I'd let them be but you can remove them if they are in unsightly places.
