yes, I have, Salifert Flatworm Stop will take care of them. Syphon as many out as you can out before using the medication. A piece of airline tubing should work pretty well. Its a PITA. When the Planaria die they release a toxin or some crud that can potentially wipe out the tank, so it is recommended to do a big water change right after treatment.
There are natural predators that eat them, head shield slugs I believe, but the slug starves to death after population has been decimated and a few straggler flat worms will be enough to repopulate. There may be some fish that eat them as well

I could be wrong , the blue hippo is probably not related to the fw's

Get a wrasse, or a mandarin. I don't like flatworm exit personally, although it does work. Just too harmful to inverts and all the little stuff in the tank that I love so much.

This is the best pic I can get of the hippo she's to active. it's that blotch right in the middle of her black lines abd I notice her eyes are a little cloudy

Thank you very much

I have heard here and there that someone has a Manderin that eats Planaria. I have a tough time believing it. IMO and experience, a Melanarus Wrasse is far more likely to help with your problem.

Someone told me the other day that orange spotted blennies will eat flat worms. My friend used Flatworm Exit on a big leather a couple months ago. It's not dying or anything, but still not back to normal.

You have many options; I had luck with the Blue Sapphire Damselfish. I tried them out of desperation about 8 years ago recommended by Exotic Aquarium; it worked. I kept at least two in my 210 tank ever since and have never seen another Planaria in my tank.

Ok guys I'm going to see what the lfs has and for the hippo she has a bacterial infection. I'm going to get some antibiotics and soak the food in fresh garlic.(the good old garlic remedy )

Flatworm exit worked awesome for me... like said above, syphon off as many as you can with airline tubing, apply the flatworm exit, and keep the syphon going with your thumb over the end to stop it. Every time you see another flatworm floating around, suck em out.

Yeah, a Melanarus would be best. They are the BEST for reef tank pest prevention, but I have used both target, and green mandarins with about 80% success rate with different flatworms
