What bleached corals look like.

I will also be taking pictures of pure "white" corals in the next day.

These are not Rare, Delux, Fancy, Xtreme, or worth a ton of money except the yuma because it is a nice yuma !

The bleaching is result of shipping stress and the conditions in the caribbean during the summer months. Also where and how the rics were growing.

So enjoy.

Thanks for sharing that -- it really puts it into perspective, especially the last picture. The yuma looks like it'll be a beaut with it's recovered and colored back up.

These are the same species of mushroom that Bitis has, and like his these are bleached. Not pigmented white but lacking pigment almost all together.

Actually, that is not the species that I have. Bleached or not, they look good....If they grow and thrive, I really don't care anymore...I like mine.....But no, they are not the same as mine..jw

I have nearly every species at my finger tips, I will keep snapping pics till I get it right.

What species are yours so I can get pictures ?
Do you have the Species and genus or a common name ?

So, since they have a hit of green will they color up to be greener? What is the true color supposed to be?
