what corals can I surround a RBTA with?

I have a large RBTA and would like to place zoos/mushrooms/other softies etc next to it, are there any that will be compatible?

I have xenia swaying with the RBTA tentacles as well with no problems....xenia even pulses.

Zoos usually do ok near it, but anything else is just asking to get BEEed up.

My zoos next to my RBTA stopped opening. I moved them away and they opened again. Based on this, I don't keep anything near my RBTA except my aiptasia (lol). No experience with Xenia.

I have several different colonies of Hydnophora. I placed them all around my GBTA. After a few exploratory "skirmishes", the anemone keeps it's distance from two of the colonies, but it stings (and causes some recession) in the third colony.

The three colonies are distinctly different. They are all different shades of green. In fact, the smallest colony is the most "flourescent" and that is the one the GBTA avoids most.

I look at it like this w/ a anemone, you can have anything you want (w/ in reason) You have to be able to move whta ever coral that your anemone is touching or will touch along the path its taking. That at least what ihave learned the hard way some times. :bum:

I've found that some corals the BTA's would fight with but not kill. My favorite to mix with them is Nepthea and Devil's hand leather. They would cringe but not die. As the BTA's open or close, these corals would close and open. I've also left zoos, mushrooms, and hammer corals next to the BTA's with no death.

I keep many corals around nems, but a buffer zone of at least 5".
Zenia seems to not be bothered at all.
