Phil,
I am interested in learning more about chemistry for beginners. Basic tests you need either to buy or have your LFS do and track. As we start adding more corals, what do we need to start watching for and how often to check these parameters? Also, any tips on dosing. When you dose for this, what else do I need to check.
I may be asking for things that are way to newbie for others but I also know that with each demo done on Sunday, I learned several things to take home and apply.
Thanks to all who make this club great and for welcoming new people. This is a great hobby!

You really need to buy your own test kits, People need to be on top of what is going on in their tanks. I do not use test kits very often anymore but they are very handy to have when you do not know what to look for. BTW, I still use my alkalinity kit and calcium kit on a regular basis, all others are collecting dust. I sometimes use Magnesium and I use to use pH but now I have a probe for it.
I can describe test kits.
