What do I feed a One Spot Foxface

After some mixup, I finally got my one spot foxface.

I got some NLS pellets for finicky fish and he picks at one or 2 of the pellets.

He also picks at Nori that I clip in.

What else can I feed him? So far he is ignoring Mysis and Rods Food.

If you some rock with hair or macro algae he will really go after that. My one spot do not go after frozen meaty food

Once he get use to captivity just provide him with plenty of algae or Nori

No hair algae in my tank. What type of macro algae would I feed him? Maybe I'll purchase some.

Just feed him Nori. Once in a while any live algae as treat. I have a refugium with no fish where I grow algae to feed my tangs and Foxface as treats

Yep, I got mine as a baby and he doubled his size in a few months. He's a piggy - eats anything and everything. Biggest and fattest fish in the tank. Also the most skittish fish in the tank too.

I have two of them that eat mysis, nori and pellets. The feading schedule I have for the tank is Mysis one day, Nori the next, Pellets the next then repeat. It works great and everyone is happy.

I mixed Mysis or plankton with flake and feed the tank. I also put in 3 Nori clips in the tank. The fox face prefer flakes over mysis or plankton, and go after the clip with gusto. He is really good at tearing up hair algae and any macro algae I put into the tank

Mysis, nori, pellets anything I put in the tank he will go nuts over it. It is going on 3 years old now in my tank. Biggest, fattest most skittish fish in tank.
