What Do You Do for QT of Fish Direct from Breeder?

Just curious - for those of you who purchase(d) fish directly from reputable breeders, do you still do your standard QT protocol?

Now I'm not talking generally about "tank-bred fish" from your LFS or an online source, but instead, local fish breeders where there is no broken chain of possession.

Do you expect that a reputable breeder's system would be free from disease? Or do you do a shortened QT? Or same protocol as usual?

Yes you would expect that a breeders system WOULD be disease free since fry would have a hard time surving a disease outbreak... With that said don't chance it, it's never worth it. TTM followed by PP to total a full 30 days of QT bare minimum

always QT 100% of the time. I can recall a long ways back (I am talking years ago) doni's reef had ich in her system and she was a top notch breeder.
