It's going to happen, but don't know when could be soon could be in 10 years, hard to know for sure. All we can do is make sure to prepare for it.

Strap your water heater to a stud or two. Make sure your house is sheer paneled at least. And be ok with water sloshing out of your tank, 'cuz if that's all that happens in a big one, consider yourself lucky.
