DLANDINO

D.L. Heritage Rings
I seem to have a over abundance of red coralline (no, it is not cyano) that grows very quickly and pink that is growing but at a much slower rate. I keep my calcium at 460 and my Mag at 1350. Of course you always want what you don't have and I would prefer more pink. So, here is the poll.

What type of coralline do you have more of?...

I would love the see OTHER/GREEN.

I have dark red, and as dlandino stated, it is not cyano.

When I first acquired my Kahlini (spelling) liverock several years back it was covered in Olive green coralline. All of which has been out competed by the pinks and purples. The pinks and purples are being squeezed out by red turf like growths. These have been kept in check by the CuC and the grazing fish which occasionally pick at it as well as the SPS which kill it as they encrust over the liverock surfaces.

Yeah, mine is exactly like what is shown above. It starts just like the pink in a small circle that expands outward from the center.

i used to love coralline, now its getting old and almost covered everything, i scraped all of it off the walls and pumps and my tank looks nice and clean again, so i vote no coralline, lol

In my tank, the deeper red coralline grows best in lower light and flow. I've got a quiet corner where I'm getting some really pretty whorls and tables in the deep red. However, I have more pink BY FAR, and only a smattering of the green.

I have the red, and purple on the rocks, and green on the glass

I have like a deep purple and a velvety dark brown coralline in direct light with bright pink and reds in the shadows.
