most definitely. Most people don't know it, and those that do are lying their arses off trying to convince everyone else that all is fine and dandy so stocks don't come crashing down.

Housing market will continue tanking and the entire economy will follow.

But I'm a pessimist and don't own a home, so my views are definitely skewed.

Yea, our economy sucks. The inflation rate was 4.7% for the year of 2007, the average cost of living raise is 3%. It is going to crash at some point.

I think they are suggesting the thread will be locked. Why? Does this subject violate the User Agreement?

IBTL = In before thread locked...its also a way of notifying the mods of a thread that should be locked.

I think we have to keep it off politics. Would that also include political decisions that affect economics? Like what the Federal Reserve decides to do? That would be weak.

Anyways, I guess we can't comment on the Candidates, so no more of that guys. Lets talk economy.

Well, if I was a mod, I would be searching on that term to see if there are any obvious threads that may need modding. Its a quick first line of defense and is better than reading 29,000,000 different posts. Essentially, letting the users police themselves. But this is purely an assumption on my part.

It sure would have been nicer if one of them just said: "hey guys, that topic is taboo". As if we are intentionally trying to break RC rules... God, I think I'd die if I got banned from RC...that or be 1000x more efficient at work! LOL. I'd rather not find out.
