What Do You Think??????

I think it would be fine to take out 1/2 of the water, paint the back and put water back in. to paint with a spray can, brush or a roller. All methods work but some require more work and longer wait time but all come with same results. Good luck.:)

(I have know and or done my self) I need to lay off the beer and go to bed !:wildone:

^ you are talking about the outside of the back right? LOL... just checkin

I have never tried painting the inside of a 1/2 full tank but it sounds like fun. Are you suggesting we experiment? LOL. I guess I should have stated that emptying the water was to lighten the tank so you could move it away from the wall far enough to paint.

Most likely we can sell tickets to watch this event. (I'll help remove the critters so they can survive):spin1:

Do you know approximately how many pounds of live rock you have? I agree that it looks a little low on live rock. If you like the more open look, one option would be to put a good portion of your live rock in the refugium.

I think it looks great, that RBTA is a nice centerpeice. The only thing I would be worried about is it looks like the tank is hanging over the edge of the stand a few inches each side. With the weight of everythin in there, I would be worried about the tank cracking.

hey dalston yeah i thought about that before the build of it and theres 2 by 4s under it to its flat on there, actually id like to get a new stand so i can put a sump under it.but thanks again for the look out

Ah gotcha, I would definatly look into that new stand you mention, just to be safe.

Oh, and i'll be contacting you pretty soon after the holidays about what we spoke in PM, just gotta get the design sorted and some cash together, prolly got some frags for ya to go with it :)
