What does it mean when my RBTA only inflates at night?

During the day RBTA doesn't seem to inflate as much as he does as when its completely dark.

Does this mean he might be getting to much direct light?

I thought I read somewhere that they like lots of light but their base and lower portion should be covered from direct light from a ledge or something? I can easily adjust the rock hes on.

I have a big rbta now and it in about 15 mintues so far fingers crossed found its perfect spot on the center of my tank right at the big sand area inbetween the small rock formation and the large formation. but as of light i have 250w 10k mh and 165w vho actinics. during the day then the mhs are on the anemone is huge and full and happy and during the light it deflates more about half its size and def more bubbly tips at night compared to day it has longer tenticles with the bubble towards the tip. so i have no idea why you anemone would be doing this but if its open at night feed it ;) good luyck put it in shade thought and wait till it opens and decides it likes your light and tank
