What eats brown algae off sand?

a goby doesnt actually eat the algae tho do they? they just move the sand around too much for the algae to have time to grow...right? cuz they're actually going for the pods arent they?

I don't know if you located the ceriths but I got a bunch of stuff from Keys Critters -- keyscritters.com -- great company to work with.

tiger tail cucumber.. they go through ur sand so much that algae doesnt have time to grow.. and they dont eat the pods and stuff in ur sandbed

I added to my tank four ceriths and one queen conch. I no longer have any brown algae on my sand (or anywhere in the tank). The sand grains in certain areas of my tank are now covered in coraline algae!
