I've got a feeling something has been eating my chalice. Are there any pests that eat chalices? I know flatworms eat sps, but do they eat chalices? Perhaps some type of nudi?
Nah, this is in my frag tank (no fish) and a chalice crapped out. Every parameter is cool and every other coral is fine. I don't think I have anything, I was more curious as to bugs/pests. I heard somewhere flatworms can eat chalices, but my sps is clean.
Have you tried any dips yet? Iodine perhaps? If it's already a goner, you might save the skeleton and try dipping it just to see if anything bizarre falls off. I've personally never heard of any chalice exclusive pests.
