Hi,
I placed my order for "The Package" nearly two weeks ago and am eagerly awaiting it's shipment. In the interim, I've been doing considerable reading on RC with respect to caring for a new reef, specifcally, LR from TBS.
I've recently stumbled on a few threads in which it was mentioned that certain customers had no life other than algae on their rock after a years time. Whatever the reasoning behind the die off in their tank, I'd like to be setup to give my LR the best chance possible once it arrives. Outside of the standard equipment, PH's, heater, lights, skimmer etc..., what else do I need to properly "feed" the life on my rocks and what is the best method for doing so? Should corals be individually fed or is it enough to simply spread the food through the tank via the output flow of the PH's?
