What Email provider are you using?

I have hotmail but based on the user guide it wont work so I setup a GMX account.

It worked fine for about 2 days and now GMX has locked me out. I cant access my email account there. Ive tried resetting my password, and emailing their support team with no luck.

Are there any other free services out there that work with the APEX

Are you sending a lot of emails to your GMX account? They might think you're (the Apex) is spamming.

Have you tried your ISP's service? There's a bunch of email servers listed in the User Guide if your ISP doesn't work.

I'd just try and get through to GMX support and get it figured out. GMX works fine for most people.

GMX support has a horrible reputation. Just set up a new account.

I may have too. I had only sent like 5 emails I cant imagine they picked me up for spam? I am trying to setup an account with brighthouse roadrunner. Does anyone have the port numbers for those?

SMTP server: smtp-server.cfl.rr.com
SMTP port: 25 or 587
Authentication enabled

Username is your RR email address.

Same happened to me. Gmx is junk. All email providers are moving to tls encryption. Just a matter of time. Best option is to use your internet providers. They usually still use port 25.

hi guys i am new with the apex, i just started setup ad am trying to setup email. tried to send test but nothing went through. using bell sympatico account info. was wondering if i can use hotmail for this.
