I have a 90G, mixed reefs with a 30G sump, G4 Skimmer.

I want to know how many fish I can keep the most, now I have :

1) 4" powder blue tang
2) 3" yellowtail goby
3 & 4) 3" Wheeler's Watchman Goby
5 & 6) 2-3" A pair of black saddle clown

Do you think my tank can keep 9 fish? I wan to add a Blue Hippo Tang(3-4"), a Mandarin & the last one a yellow tang.

How long has the tank been setup? When did you add your current fish? If the PBT was introduced recently without quaratine I would wait a couple weeks to see if he comes down with a disease before adding anything else to the tank. Also, the PBT might be very territorial and aggressive to new tang entries. Good Luck.

90 gallon is too small for a Powder blue. A yellow tang or maybe a kole tang will work in your tank.

Alright, so you got rid of your sailfin tang? I read your other thread. As you can see you will probably have absolutely no luck adding another tang to that tank, especially if the PBT in in there currently. Also, since you have just got him a couple weeks ago, I will wait a couple more before introducing any other fish to let him settle down and get adjusted completely. Good Luck...

Kiel'thalin ... the salfin is gone :( it stressed out becoz of the PBT. I didn't know the PBT is this aggressive, I wanted to take it out but i just couldn't catch it.

I know a 90G might be too small for PBT..too bad that I didn't check before I picked him up. The PBT is doing fine in my tank, swims all the time & eats everything.

If I can take him out then I will get the yellow tang, salfin tang & a blue hippo.

your 90g is too small for yellow, salfin and blue together even when you take out the pbt.

I probably would'nt add anymore tangs. I did'nt read your first post correctly, so i didnt realize you already had a pbt.
Also hippo's deffinatly need a minimum of 180 gallons.

If you got that PBT in your tank and he is doing well, you are very lucky. These guys are very sensitive to disease and please do not add another tang to that size tank. You will be very happy with your healthy PBT by itself. Let him settle in and enjoy his growth. He is going to at least double that size. You clownfish are the Polymnus species? You know they will get into the 4-5" range (about the size of your tang right now), and are aggressive when they mature. Don't limit yourself to tangs, there are alot of other compatable fish that might make you happy, be patient and let the tank mature before adding anything else. I know the exitement of stocking the tank, but please take it slow...

Kiel'thalin...Thanks for advises!! the PDT is doing pretty good, VERY active and eats everything, I should be happy with him. I guess I'm just going to stay with what I have now.
