What Frags Are You Planning On Bringing To The January Frag Swap???

Sell the frags at the auction and then just pay your dues with the money you make off the frags. It just seems to be easier that way. Thanks!!

I just removed from my tank (to make space) a rock about 5-6 inches across with 7 or so xenia on it. They are the common type of xenia, but the rock makes a nice overall effect, because there are so many of them. Is xenia so abundant no one will be interested in this? Not sure whether to bring it or not....Since I'll be gone all day to attend this, hate to bring stuff that I might have to drag home again.

I think the donation jar is the way to go. The last one at my place I suggested that 10% of sales be donated to the club.

Since donors have been so generous this time around (thanks to Laurie's efforts) I won't hold people to this. Member are encourage to donate a portion of sales, and we always encourage people to join. In my oppinion $20 a year is worth it to promote the exchange of captive raised frags.

I agree with Matt. We can just ask folks to be kind with a donation of whatever they feel like from the money they make.

Also, I got a PM asking if we can hold a check until payday (Like the end of the month) for some of the items being auctioned. Frankly, I'd like to make as much as possible off the donated stuff, so I have no problem holding a check if it allows you to bid higher.

All I ask is that we don't have to chase anyone down- it wouldn;t be fair to Rose or anyone else that had to do it. Also, we can't hold checks for anything you buy from another member directly at the swap- that will be up to the person you are buying it from.
