Usually all one has to do is contact the mods to work out the situation. Some mods are more than happy to help regain your privileges

He told me that his IP address has been blocked... so he cant log in and contact the mods even if he wanted to, right?

Usually the mod that bans you contacts you via email, at least that is what i was told. Maybe a mod can chime in to verify.

His complaints seemed pretty ridiculous though, it seemed to me like he was almost begging for the mods to boot him the way he was posting.

I think there should be a special forum like a jail area to hold the violators, in there it will given them chance to cool down or atleast get in contact with the mods. Because once you moved on, you can't contact the mods or PM them.

I like Bill very nice guy, but I have to agreed with the above comment. He started the fight, asking to be boot and end up getting what he wished for.

Wow they banned him for asking explanations to his questions.................pretty petty if you ask me...........& a simple "Bye Bill" & that's it.........................Wow!!!!

I've seen people here go off on other people & the majority of the time, a mod just closes or removes the thread.

Here's hoping the mods never have to be judged anytime in life..............because what goes around, comes around.......

I suspect there's more behind the scenes and maybe some reponses to behind the scene conversations brought this on. If you get a PM from a moderator it's best you correct your actions and not go off on them. Not saying that's what's happened here but I've heard it's happen before.
