What happened to Euroreef prices??

The CS12-2 I was planning to buy just jumped by $200! Seems to be the same story at other merchants as well. Is Euroreef pushing some kind of price-fixing scheme on everybody?

How about an ASM G-5, its more or less the same thing isnt it ? Can be had for around $500, comes with 2 Sedra 9000's rated for 600 gallons.

I am well aware of the legalities. However, it seems suspicious that multiple merchants simultaneously raised their Euroreef prices to match your MSRP. I am very curious to hear Marine Depot's explanation.

I have looked at the ASM's a bit, but I prefer the ER's cast acrylic material. Also, if you compare ASM and ER skimmers with similar size and pumps, the ASMs claim to support significantly larger tanks.

Marine Depot, or any retailer for that matter can sell Euro-Reef Skimmers for any price they choose to. SRP is just that, Suggested Retail Price. We encourage our vendors to advertise those prices and win thier customers business by providing excellent service and support. This ensures that you, the end user, will have a place to go for help with your Euro-Reef when you need it.

Again, a retailer can sell our product for any price they choose.
