What happens when you forget....

....that you are cooking live rock?

A few days ago, I finally got out the mop to clean the tile floors. I have a covered trashcan full of LR that has been cooking for months, and the pump adds heat and circulation. The rock is/was perfect, ready for some lighting to regrow coralline.

Today I realized I forgot to plug the cord back in when I was done mopping (it was in the way at the time), and it sat there without flow nor heat in darkness for about 4 days. Temperature of the water was 69F today.

im sure its no biggie... my GFI tripped last week for some reason and it shut off the return pump (and my heaters are in the sump) so there was no heat or lights for at least 6 hours... tank temp was around 72... everything perked back up once i reset the gfi and the tank temp started going up slowly again... no losses, no major problems...

well, i just realized that almost all the water in my cooking bin is gone....I'm afraid to test the salinity. Its probably like 1.75
