Just added a cleaner wrasse to each of my 125's. Funny how the fish in both tanks started pestering them. Not aggressively, just wanting to be preened. In 1 tank I have a Yellow-Eyed Kole and a Foxface rabbit. Those two are following the wrasse around presenting their sides trying to get cleaned. Humorous.
Also, will be trying to hook up my MRC CR-6 CA Reactor tonight. So many tubes I am a bit intimidated. Not much in the way of instructions on MRC site either. And cant find a video of how other people have them hooked up.
Did a 55g water change, got tired of my ROX carbon floating in the reactor so tossed it into a media bag and into my filter sock, tuned the skimmer a bit as it was pulling a smidge to much air,and also cut a hole in my wall to start installing my 57g mantis tank upgrade. I had been talking about it for a while and figured it was time to stop talking and start doing.
Isn't this like your 5th or 6th tank being setup since pife parked the 150 in his front room?:spin2:
Make a screen top for your tank. The acrylic top will reduce your light once it gets dirty.
great point, this one is more for when I have dates over, I'll make a screen one for day to day use. what's the best screen to use? the normal black window screen?
Running halides with a top of such will generate some heat pretty quick
Order the 1/4" screen from BRS. Ive used other screen materials and this is the best Ive found.
I was able to find that clear mesh that everyone uses for screentops on Ebay for less than BRS charges. If you can find the mesh on Ebay, you can pick up the screen frame kit at Lowes for around $10.

I was moving around some new frags when I saw an opportunity to catch a quick video of the Red Mithrax crab that has taken up residence under my Rock Flower Anemone. You'd think that Anemone would be annoyed by the crab but he doesn't seem to mind. The crab has been there for days now.
