I just got the Kessil control module last week so I don't have to upgrade my Apex Jr....
Found it at Aquatic Treasures when I was planning on ordering it anyways... It's working great!!! Totally customizable and easy to use.

Next project is to add some moonlight LEDs that are attached to the bottom trim like I saw on the DIY forum.

And yes.... That Reef Octopus skimmer I won at the swap is doing GREAT...... We were under-skimmed in my opinion due to some fat pigs in the tank and we were planning on upgrading to a bigger one anyways, now we don't have to! We have both running and the ROcto dialed in pretty well finally and its producing a skimmate that is just as black as the other but smells even nastier!

(Btw for those who thought they didn't stir up the tickets good enough since I got there right before they drew.... You don't know how many tickets I put in that one IYKWIM.... I didn't want or need any of the other 3 but threw a few into the powerhead)

cleaned my sump out and found a fish i assumed had been killed by a gorrila crab. also removed the fuge area and built 2 litte baskets from some gutter guard like stuff one for rock rubble ans one for cheato. next i will be cleaning the frag tank that contains lots of rocks but no frags. kinda looks like a big fuge right now.

I did that for a couple years. Mine was a curved glass picotope. It's especially easy if you do coral/nems only.

Pretty much the plan That or a masked goby as they are TINY! Maybe just a feather duster and snails.
