What is a fair price for Blue Xenia?

Hello All,

It has been a while since I have been on the site and kind of been out of touch with what the current market is for corals. I have a 14 Gallon Biocube that I am going to finally break down and it is quite literally full of blue xenia. Can anyone give me some direction on what is a reasonable price to put some of the frags up for sale?

These images are under LED lights. Sorry for the bad pictures, they were taken with my phone.

No, I actually got these from someone out of state. Can't remember exactly where. I know it wasn't you though because we went back and forth a little bit on whether these were actually blue xenia after I had purchased them. :-)

they are worth whatever someone is willing to pay ;)
some people think they are worthless while others find them desirable and are willing to pay for them...
the best answer IMO is to ask what you think they are worth and take it from there...

but FWIW, I would agree with the statement of $5 stalk as a good starting point :)

I was cutting and throwing that stuff away as fast as it grew, I would give some to anyone that wanted some, but I always ended up with more then I could give away for free.

sustain the hobby, either give it away or charge a nominal $5.....these might go for $10 $15 a stalk at an LFSs, but they are a business, you are not.

I'm going to just give it all away. I wasn't ever planning on selling it at a stalk level anyways. Each one of the live rocks that I have is completely covered in it. I was going to give each person the whole live rock.

It never seems to ship well...so something abundant in this area, may have more value elseware...if you ho other places. Just a thought...

I'd be interested in some :)

I would be interested in some. To be honest though-you should charge for the piece of live rock....that always has value....I work in elgin BTW.
