I came home from work today and notices some eggs of some sort on the glass of my reef tank. They are very small clear eggs with white centers. I tried getting a pic but I cant get my camera to focus on them. Tank inhabitants include: 2 tomato clowns, small hippo, cleaner shrimp, bittle star, serpant star, sandsifting star, various snails, and god knows whats in my LR. I realize without a pic it is near impossible, I guess Im hoping someone has had/seen something with the same discription.

Any Ideas?

Is it possiable that your Tomato's spawned??

If so I would setup and incubation tank and get those eggs out of there with a snatcher.

In any case you should probably pull the eggs and put them in a seperate tank. Then when they hatch if there a problem animal you have them contained.

small clear eggs with a white center doesn't sound like Clownfish eggs. Besides, the male fish guards a clutch- a giveaway.
Clown eggs are bright orange at first. Then they develop into clear sacs where the eyes of each larvae are clearly visible.

I'm guessing they're snail eggs in this case.

I was also guessing they are snail eggs. I just went over to check them out again and they are gone. So either the currant was to strong or something ate them. Scott I should have taken them out and into a seprate container, Just didnt think of it. At any rate, I appreciate the help guys.
