I have small (about 0.7mm) oval shaped red dots on my glass, they appear to be flat and move quickly for their size. The stay on the bottom part of the glass near the sand. They are slightly smaller than copepods. Any ideas? dont have a camara that will focus in on something that small so no pics.

I thought flat worms were large than that, and do the move fast? Everything in the tank is doing great, but I dont like having things in there that are un-identified.

Planaria come in many shapes, sizes, and color. Most likely it's the detrivore flatworm that doesn't actually harm anything. A mass wipeout from something like Flatworm Exit could cause huge amounts of toxins to be released from them though.

Yah. I have something similar in my tank that no one can seem to identify. They're really tiny, like about the size of the attenae of a copepod.

And they cover everything and quickly die out of water. Though, the tank is healthy. Nobody seems to mind them.

Live and let live, as they say.
