what is the best all in one food?

Rod's original is a good all in one food, but it makes a terrible mess in your tank if you have a lazy cleanup crew. The best food for you could be different than for someone else. It depends on what your tank needs are. I feed spectrum pellets and coral frenzy as my staples. Maybe be once per week I'll do frozen Rods Original.

Depends on what you want to feed. I mix Phyto-feast, roti-feast, Oyster-feast, Min F, for my daily feeding. I also use larger types of food for the corals with large enough mouths. I believe the more varied the food is the more likely your corals will he healthier.

If I could only feed my fish one food for the rest of their lives, it would be New Life Spectrum pellets. Hands down.

g at abc aquariums makes a hell of a mix when he can gather the ingredients.i use a variety: spectrum, black worms, cyclopleeze, mysis, coral frenzy, clown and shrimp larva

I could NEVER get my fish to eat it. What's the secret?

If they're hungry enough, they'll eat anything. :D

In all seriousness, mine have always gone nuts for it. If I recall, weren't you a strictly PE Mysis guy? If I were one of your fish, I'd hold out for mysis too instead of a lame dry pellet!

we used to feed something called management loaf in the supermax prison. the biggest, badest a holes were brought to tears after a week or two . 100% nutionally complete , it looked and smelt the same going in ,as it did going out . just sayin...

Ah yes, going from caviar to Mac n Cheese wont do. Well see how they ate after being in a back room tank at ABC Reefs for 6 mos. They'll be begging for the pellets...

I make my own food. That is the staple food of my fish and corals.

Shrimp, squid, clam, fish, scallops, brine shrimp, cyclopeeze, and nori (if I have a tang or other veggie lover). Chop everything up really fine and throw in some selcon/vita chem/etc. Put it in zip-top plastic baggies and lay them flat. Only put enough in the baggies to make them 1/4"-3/8" thick.

I throw in Formula 1 and 2 pellets in every once in a while, but my fish get this frozen food most days. I have yet to find a fish that doesn't like my mix. My female ocellaris clown sucks the food right out of the turkey baster.

+55 to NLS!

Best frozen all in one food is roggers reef food. No questions asked. Ingredients are better than Rods reef food.

Other than nls, just feed a mix, try to get as much natural algae and copepods etc into your tank for the best supplements to NLS.

just got some Rods food and I'll say the fish like it! From what I've read its a nice blend that covers the big fish to the little fish and the corals at the same time.
