What is the difference in the true perculas

Im looking for a True Percula and really like this one that I saw then I see all of these??

SI (Solomon Island) Percula
Onyx Percula

I really like the Orange with White Stripes and Black in the middle. But are they all the same?? Is one more then the others?? One harder to get?? Please anything will be great.

I think all the True percs they show in the link are onyx, just from different places.

I'll try to help you out, but I could be wrong, I'm new to saltwater fish also but did a lot of research on percs because thats all I wanted for my tank.

This first picture is a picture of jovreefer's(a RC member) true perculas:
The one on the far left is an ONYX percula from Solomon Island and the one on the Right is a Solomon Island true percula

This Second picture is of a Finding Nemo's (another RC Member) true percula from Papua New Guinea:

A true percula from Solomon Islands is a deeper orange/red while a true percula from Papua New Guinea is a light orange/yellow. An onyx percula is a true percula who is mostly black instead of the orange/yellow for the most part. As for price, I believe Solomon Island and Papua New Guinea go for around the same price, but onyx are usually a bit more expensive. Also, there are a lot of potential problems as far as diseases are concerned when buying wild caught perculas that aren't really an issue when buying false percs (tank raised). Just my 2 cents, hope this helps.

HaHa I think you could have used someone with better pics of their clowns but that was kinda flattering to see my pic up ... sorry... if I knew I had something special I would have tried to get some better pics of the pair.

:rollface: I hope you don't mind that I used your picture of your old pair, I know I had a thread asking to post pics of your true percs so I stole them from there, I used yours because yours were of both SI and an onyx. Again, I hope you don't mind that I used your pic.
