Its summer time and in general the interest in this hobby is displaced by SUMMER TIME i.e. other family, buisness, outdoor activities. No offense... all aspects of this hobby seem to lag a bit this time of year.

In Chico we see it come and go... What really tends to keep our meeting participation and attendance up is a frag etc door prize/raffle at the end of meetings.

We seem to go through this every summer, and every President gets frustrated by it. This weekend is the Annual Wings Over Wine Country Airshow, which I never miss. A buddy of mine has a hangar out there, we BBQ and watch some great planes all weekend, and really put a dent in a 1 gig memory card on my Canon.
Our first real venture out in a while.
