What is this on tank glass?

I noticed these on my buddies tank on his glass today when his lights came on. Does anyone know what they are? Baby snails of some sort? He also has some slug looking snails with a sort of half shell. He says they don't seem to bother anything. The half shell looking ones seem to be eating of the rocks like the other snals but they weren't fully shelled. None of his corals seems affected. The dots on the glass were tiny, pics taken with a 100mm macro.

The dots too blury to help there
but the half shell things are Black or White Stomatella's Reef Safe.
I have TONS of them in my tank.

They look like nasarius snail eggs!
