Just found this thing crawling around my refugium tonight... it's about 6" fully extended. Monster Flatworm??

It's a predatory polyclad flatworm. They prey on snails and clams.

sadly I think there might be more in my display... I found that one in the refugium. And 2 of my maxima clam in the display had perished over the past 3 weeks... thinking it's them

Can they reproduce by budding?

hah! that's what I was thinking this morning. I put it in a cup... and it crawled out and almost went onto the table. Scary looking thing

Not trying to be a $&@&$&$ but it's best not to flush anything living, and some things that died, down the drain. Next time, if you're going to kill it, make sure it's dead, put it in a ziplock baggie, and throw it away in the garbage. Just trying to help.

If you want to hunt for them pick up rocks on the sand in the aquarium, that is where they hide.

Gonna be hard, most of my rocks are pretty big and support each other. So if one is taken out... it'll be like the domino effect
