I voted clowns, although it's actually 1 of my 4 clowns that's my favorite. My female gold-striped maroon is the queen of her tank and doesn't let anyone forget it! I like her tough-girl personality but she'll also feed from my hand. She's the first one to swim to the top of the tank to look for munchies when I walk in the room.
Well my first and only fish so far is a clown fish.. doenst really do much.. just swims up and down the side of the tank ooking at himself, ill be getting him another one shortly
I've had the angels and they are cool had an Emperor for 10 years and a Bi-color for about 5 had a passer angel and a Flame, All except maybe the Flame were fairly aggressive. I like my powder blue tang allot but they need plenty of room 100 + Good Luck
Angelj247 ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ go to any online website or look in a fish book that you may have, common ones are Lyretail, and Bartlettââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s, but the ones I find prettier are the randalls, fat head/sunburst, evansi, purple queens, and a few others. Arguably the most difficult fish to keep in a reef tank, that is probably why I like them so much, for the challenge.
for me it is not so much one cool fish. The trick is to find many fish that can co-exist with NO desire to establish a dominate hierarchy. So far I have an algae blenny, yellow tang, and 2 perc's. No one bothers the other. I would like to add more but I do not want any problems. I have had gobies but they can be coral (sps) nippers.
wanted: cute colorful fish that does not harm any other coral or fish.
