It's right off the Fox River (You can actually boat up to it and dock there). It is on Algonquin, about a block East of Rt. 31. If you go on a Friday they have a massive buffet with crab legs, sushi, jumbalaya, mussels, clams, shrimp, and 6 or 7 other dishes. I don't normally eat buffets, but this is the one I'll make an exception for. They also do a Sunday champagne brunch but I haven't been up there for it.
Try the bacon wrapped scallops.

Bob Chinns is tops. Never been to Osaka. Where in Vernon Hills is that? Mom lives there. I used to. Mmmmmm, Sushi....
If you want some really good sushi at an unbeatable price go to the made-to-order Sunday brunch at Simon Lin's Asian Bistro in Lincolnshire.

The cake to the right above is a Wasabi-Chocolate cake. Great sweetness with a little bit of wasabi heat. Ooooooh, people are going to think I'm as big of a shill for Chef Lin as I am for Sho Tank.
Brunch Menu:

For around $20-$25 per head you can order from the above menu and leave fat and happy with a tremendous variety.

Long John Silvers is no longer near me so i really can't voice any opinion on this resteraunt which really is not what i would qualify as a seafood resteraunt but more your typical fast food chain. I did have it once a few years ago and it wasn't that bad. I especially liked the hush puppies. They were my favoriate. [/B]

Papa Deux is good but expensive. Everything their is ala carte and it tends to add up. Nice scenery including a large FO saltwater tank right when you walk in.
Nope not Ala carte, unless you have a different meaning than I know. When I order my fav(pepper shrimp) I get dirty rice and asparagus with it. I've been to Bob Chin's and Port Edwards on multiple occasions, but Papa's gets me coming back every time. Why, may you ask? Flavor, of course. I love the spicy food! Dirty rice, pepper shrimp, blackened scallops, and the best creme brule' I've ever had and any place that has it on the menu I try it and none has stood up to the Pappas.
