What is your most expensive fish?

1) What is your most expensive fish you have/bought?
2) What is the most expensive fish you would like to have?
3) What is the most expensive fish you would not buy?(Something that is expensive but you don't want to have.)

1) Koran angel... $40 But soon to be Black tang! :D
2) Gem Tang
3) DME

The most expensive fish I have bought and will ever buy is a yellow tail damsel. It was the first one. After the first one all the rest are cheap. That freaking damsel cost $1500 to get it home!

If anyone is interested I'll let it go for $1000.:)

The most expensive fish I have is a Labouti Wrasse that I got for $80. I would have paid much more for it no questions asked. I know I got a great deal as Liveaqaria.com sells them for $129 and I have seen them higher. For a Pylei wrasse I will pay $200. I would rather have expensive show fish than cheap filler fish.

As much as we spend on this hobby I want something in my tank that I enjoy looking at.

1) Joculator - My center piece

For saltwater my most expensive fish was a gold banded maroon clown now fresh water i spent 175 on a badass pedgion blood discus.

Most expensive fish i want?............hmmm probley a chevron tang.

The gem tang. just not that impressive for 3G's and thats a fish nut saying that.

My most expensive fish currently is a Bartlett's Anthias, $55 at LFS. I don't tend to buy fish over around $80, as I can't stomach the loss when they occasionally die within days. My last $60 Potter's Angel lasted a whopping 2 days before dying in QT with no apparent illnesses.

I'd love to get a Helfrichi firefish, rhomboid and mystery wrasse, but they're so pricey. I'd also like an Imperator Angel, but they're too big for my 55 and I don't think my reef would enjoy it's presence anyway.

I don't want a gem tang or mutant clowns (snowflake) or that ugly hybrid tang on Live Aquaria).

Most I've paid.
Female Crosshatch Trigger--325
Pair of Watanabe Angels--300

Mystery wrasse--180

Next on my list Rhomboid wrasse

Most expensive I've bought was a pair of WC Reidi fro $200

Most expensive I'd like to have
Helfrichi pair
Blue Spotted jawfish

Most expensive I'd never buy
Leafy Seadragon, 3000 for a baby, but the setup needed to keep one is at least another 0.

Let's not talk about most expensive corals. :D Wife's right next to me.

Re: What is your most expensive fish?

1) What is your most expensive fish you have/bought?

Currently a Springeri Pseudochromis, I'm too busy spending silly amounts of money on corals... In the past it was a Purple Tang back when they were close to $300, I also had a pair of Jordan's Wrasses at the time that were pretty pricey.

2) What is the most expensive fish you would like to have?

Resplendens Angel

3) What is the most expensive fish you would not buy?(Something that is expensive but you don't want to have.)

There are a lot of them, but Black Tang popped into my head first.
