what kind of anemone is this

hi I'm new to this forum and would love to know what kind of anemone have the lfs sold it to me as a malu but I'm not shore that it is . Pluse do you guys think I looks happy only had it one week . He moved load then shop and stayed there and Beend there for 3 days . Would like to find out more info ad would like yo put all my corals were I wont . Thanks

Perculas don't prefer that type of anemone... You could get lucky, but it's very unlikely that they will pair up.

Sometimes it takes days, months, years or never...It's just luck if they do pair.

One more thing . I just feed it a peace of silver side and now it's on the move is that normal it was in the same spot for 4 days ?

The anemone may be moving just because it's settling in. Mine took a few days to find their spots. But opinions are mixed on the advisability of feeding silversides to anemones. They're often spoilt, and that can sicken (even kill) your anemone. A lot of aquarists avoid feeding them to their nems for that very reason.

Thanks for the info , so would it be best to keep him on mysis and brine shrimp . Don't won't to make it sick or even kill him . Meny thank as you can tell I'm a newbie to nems .

I would do something about the heater you have in the tank. BTA tend to wander, if it craw on the heater, then the heater turn on it will be severely injured if not dead.
If you keep reef tank for any length of time, anything can go wrong will go wrong. If you have a sump put the heater there, If not maybe a hand on skimmer or filter and put the heater there.
Not only anemone, but snails will often kill by heater also.
