Can anyone tell me what kind of snail this is?

I'm pretty sure it's a nassarius snail but I'm going to keep an eye on it. It's small so it's hard to tell and I've only ever seen it on the glass as it blends in with the sand in my tank. Thank you everyone for the help.

Unless it's a small juvenile or your photo angle makes it look shorter than it actually is, it's likely a Nassarius. If you caught it in Florida, it's less likely to be a Nassarius, since most of the ones that look like yours are Indo-Pacific.

If you want to take it out of the tank and photograph it in a shallow dish of water, from several angles, I can probably tell you exactly what it is.

it is very small about 1/4 of an inch...but next time i see it I will take it out and take more photos of it ....thak you so very much...i'm not sure where it came from i just saw it one day
