What Kind of spearer?

I was wondering what this one is I saw a picture of one that looks like it but the site said it was from the eastern pacific, but the LFS swears he got it on a caribbean order. But what does a LFS know...anyhow.

The coloration looks like one my buddy found in Kiawa South carolina. Not sure if it's a clubber or spearer...

From the top angle, it looks like a spearer. This guy my friend tells me was around 6+ inches... I think they ended up eating him...

These are both spearers in the family Squillidae. There are a couple of dozen species and without examining the specimens, I can't identify it to species. The first one is quite unusual and I can't even make a guess. The second one is probably Squilla empusa, but it has its telson curled under and I can't tell for sure.
